Ashwaubomany Lake is a zero-depth entry sand beach with one- and three-meter diving boards and a tube slide located on a platform in the “deep end” of the lake. There is a toddler slide in the shallow end. Grab a ball from the office and play a game of water basketball on one of two hoops
Anclam Park in Bailey’s Harbor has a sandy swimming beach with shallow waters. The Park has bathrooms, a playground, grills, and great views of the harbor. There is a pier adjacent to the beach that you can walk down for even better views of the harbor and the town
South Shore Park Beach is a beautiful sandy beach the near south side of the city. The beach has sand volleyball courts, a playground, and a restroom facility. A portion of the Oak Leaf Trail runs through the park.
Gislason Public Beach is a small sand beach next to the Shipyard Island Marina. The Red Barn Park across the street is an alcohol-free park with playground, picnic area, grills, volleyball, trails, and features live music on Fridays during the summer
