The Wisconsin Maritime Museum explores the rich maritime history of the Manitowoc area and the Great Lakes. The Museum has 60,000 square feet of exciting and interactive exhibits, including a unique collection of model ships and boats, historic vessels and even a working steam engine
The Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse was constructed in 1839 at the entrance to the Manitowoc harbor. The lighthouse has undergone various changes and renovations through the years but still stands as a gleaming white beacon on the north side of the harbor

The Manitowoc County Historical Society is a museum of living history situated on 60 acres in the scenic Ice Age Kettle Moraine countryside. The Museum consists of a Welcome Center with local history exhibits and archives and the Pinecrest Historical Village, more than 25 historic buildings
