The Island Clipper is a 149-passenger ferry transporting visitors from Gills Rock to Washington Island. The Island Clipper does not carry vehicles but can take bicycles and mopeds. Once you arrive at Washington Island, hop aboard the Viking Tour Train, which provides a 90-mintue tram tour of Washington Island, with stops at Schoolhouse Beach, Farm Museum and more.
Ferry departs from Gills Rock Ferry Dock and runs daily from late May through early October. Viking Tour Train fare is separate from Island Clipper fare. You can also rent bicycles or mopeds through Annie’s Island Moped Rentals for use on the island.
