Wade House Historic Site embraces the golden era of carriage and stagecoach travel. This Wisconsin Historical Society Site includes the Wade House Stagecoach Hotel, a working sawmill and blacksmith shop, and the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum, which contains Wisconsin’s largest collection of carriages and wagons. Learn interesting facts about stagecoach travel through interactive exhibits and climb aboard a real stagecoach.

The Wade House Hotel is a three-story, 27-room Greek Revival hotel built by Slyvanus and Betsey Wade between 1847 and 1851. Groups tours and motorcoaches are welcome by appointment.
