Kohler-Andrae State Park is a nearly 1,000-acre state park with miles of hiking trails, sand dunes, beaches and more. The Park has a variety of geology landscape including river marsh, pine and hardwood forests, and sand dunes and is home to numeral mammals, more than 150 bird species, and more than 400 plant species. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails are available in the winter. The Sanderling Nature Center has nature exhibits and interactive kiosks relating to the Park’s history, plants and animals, as well as a gift shop.
Kohler-Andrae State Park has miles of beautiful sand dunes and beaches on Lake Michigan. Pack a picnic and enjoy the waves. The Park has a bathhouse and a few restrooms.
