Wisconsin Black Historical Society’s mission is to document and preserve African American history in Wisconsin. Exhibits incorporate the history of ancient Egyptian civilization to African American settlers in Wisconsin and the African American labor experience in Wisconsin. A replica of the NAACP Civil Rights Tribute Bus pays tribute to local and national civil rights pioneers. Group tours are available by appointment.
