The Ephraim Historical Foundation has a collection of eight historical sites featuring Moravian and Norwegian architecture. Visit the Iverson House, the oldest frame home in Door County, the Goodletson Cabin, a Norwegian Svalhus (cooling house), the Anderson Barn Museum, and see what life was like as a student or teacher in an 1880 schoolhouse.
The museums are open from mid-June through mid-October. It is a great place for individuals and groups of all ages to visit. Contact them to schedule a group tour or field trip.

Old Anderson House Museum/Corner of the Past

Death’s Door Maritime Museum
Death’s Door Maritime Museum pays homage to the area’s commercial fishing industry and maritime history. Exhibits include a shipwreck, lighthouse lights and scuba diving artifacts recovered from the dangerous passage around the Door Peninsula known as Death’s Door. The Museum is open daily

Door County Coastal Byway
The Door County Coastal Byway includes a more than 66-mile stretch of Wisconsin’s Door Peninsula. It begins with Highway 57 in Sturgeon Bay and travels north along the eastern coast of the peninsula to Northport and Gills Rock before heading south on Highway 42 back to Sturgeon Bay
