Apostle Highlands Golf Course is an 18-hole championship golf course situated in the hills above Bayfield and 500 feet above Lake Superior. The course offers spectacular views of Madeline and Long Islands, Chequamegon Bay and the surrounding countryside. Thirteen of the holes have lake views, with holes three and fifteen being regarded as the most picturesque.
Apostle Highlands has plenty of challenges, with tree-lined fairways and hidden hazards, as well as multi-tiered greens to challenge even the best putters. The cold north winds can also be a factor, so remember to bring an extra layer or two! After your round, enjoy a cold beverage on the clubhouse deck overlooking the 9th green and Lake Superior.
