Peterson Park Disc Golf

Pierhead Lighthouse
The original lighthouse was a square, wooden tower painted white with a black, hexagonal iron lantern. The current red lighthouse was established in 1908, and a foghorn was added 1910. It had a fixed red lens lantern illuminating toward the lake. General Douglas MacArthur helped design the pier as

Ahnapee Trail
The Ahnapee Trail is part of a Rails to Trails program across Wisconsin. The former rail bed has been converted to a crushed limestone surface and runs about 48 miles from Sturgeon Bay south to Algoma and Kewaunee. There is a parking area at the Sturgeon Bay trailhead
