Algoma’s award-winning boardwalk along the Lake Michigan shore begins at the Algoma Visitor Center and runs to the Algoma Marina. The half-mile boardwalk is handicap accessible at both ends and offers a great way to enjoy the spectacular sights and sounds of Lake Michigan. The adjacent Crescent Beach offers ample opportunity for sunbathing, building sandcastles, swimming, collecting rocks and other treasures, or simply taking a stroll along the water.

Leashed dogs are allowed on Boardwalk year-round and on the beach from October through April.
