Located three and a half miles north of Washburn, this .75-mile trail traverses some beautiful natural features before ending at the edge of Lake Superior far above the water, with great views of the coastline. The waterfall flow is seasonal. The gate in the parking area locks automatically at the posted closing time. From Highway 13, turn on Houghton Falls Road and drive a half mile to the parking area.
