Whitefish Dunes State Park sits along Lake Michigan on the eastern shore of Door County Peninsula. In addition to beach areas, the Park has many trails through huge sand dunes and forest areas. One of the trails connects with neighboring Cave Point County Park. There is a nature center that offers year-round programs and exhibits. A vehicle admission sticker is required for entry.

Sunset Park is a 41-acre park with a sandy swimming beach. There is a shelter building with restrooms, and shore fishing is permitted in the park. There is also a playground, 9-hole frisbee golf course, tennis courts, basketball court, pickleball courts, and a trail for walking or biking
