The Racine Zoo is home to more than 300 animals from around 75 difference species. The 28-acre Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The Zoo has a large number of large mammals including the African lion, wallaroo, orangutan, giraffe, rhinoceros and many others. They also have an assortment of amphibians, invertebrates, birds, fish and reptiles. The Zoo is open daily year-round with the exception of special events and certain holidays.
