Beyer Home and Carriage Museum

The Beyer Home was built in 1868 and is believed to be one of the first brick homes in the county. The original structure was Italianate-style, but it was later remodeled into a Queen Ann style home with wrap-around porch and three-story tower room. The home was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and now functions as a museum. The adjacent Carriage House contains a collection of vintage vehicles, sleighs, canoes, and other displays.
