The Manitowoc County Historical Society is a museum of living history situated on 60 acres in the scenic Ice Age Kettle Moraine countryside. The Museum consists of a Welcome Center with local history exhibits and archives and the Pinecrest Historical Village, more than 25 historic buildings containing period furnishings from Manitowoc County’s first settlers. Choose a self-guided tour, with audio tour options available. The Museum is open from May 15th through September 30th and by appointment only from November 15th to April 1st. Group tours are available by appointment.
