Nestled on the banks of the Fox River in Green Bay, Heritage Hill State Park sits on the former site of Camp Smith, a temporary location of Fort Howard. The Park is a 56-acre living history museum devoted to the preservation of its buildings, many of which are original structures that have been preserved over the years. The Tank Cottage is Wisconsin’s oldest standing house, dating from 1776.

Thousands of artifacts represent various periods of Northeastern Wisconsin’s rich heritage: the Fur Trade, Fort Howard, the Growing Community, and the Ethnic Agricultural Area. Heritage Hill State Park is also an ideal attraction for groups and motorcoach tours.
