The Lakeshore Trail is an approximately 4.5-mile hiking trail to the mainland sea caves. The first .7 miles of the trail has a plank boardwalk. The remaining section of the trail to the sea caves is more rugged and moderate to difficult. The sea caves are visible at around the 1.8-mile point
