Winter Park in Kewaunee is the area’s most popular park for winter recreation, offering skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. The snow tubing hill has five lanes approximately 450 feet long with a vertical drop of 70 feet. Riders are taken to the top of the hill by a Magic Carpet, a standing conveyor belt system.

The ski area has five runs, some over a quarter mile in length with a 160-foot vertical drop rated from easy to difficult. A t-bar lift brings skiers and snowboarders to the top.

There is also a beginner’s hill for those just starting out. Equipment rentals are available on-site, and the warming chalet offers concessions.

Winter Park converts to a 27-hole disc golf course during spring, summer and fall and is rated eighth in the state by Disc Golf Course Reviews. The scenic course covers the entire park. There is no fee, but donations are requested for park upkeep.
